Welcome to the Farm!
Growing up in a small town on 10 acres, I have always wanted to return to the small town life and have land and animals. When the world experienced Covid, I sped that up from a retirement dream to right now! Life is too short. After living in College Station and then Cypress for several years, we made the move to the small (well, it was small!) town of Montgomery in late 2020. The first chickens arrived January 2021, and it's been downhill since then.

While it is a lot of work, I wouldn't trade it for anything, and enjoy taking care of the menagerie each night - though it does make vacations difficult, and sometimes I question my sanity and lack of impulse-buying control when it's 11pm and I'm filling up pools for the ducks, or milking the goats.

Refundable deposit of $50
Oreo blessed us with triplets on February 11 - 2 doelings (Cinnamon and Sweetie) and 1 buckling (Double Stuf). All are available after April 8.
Double Stuf may be surgically castrated if desired.
Oreo is my best milker - she keeps going long after the other girls are dried up, even if you miss a day or two.
Double Stuf is available for $150, and Sweetie and Cinnamon are available for $250 each.
Thin Mint gave us two bucklings on February 15 - Tag-Along and Pepe Le Pew.
They will be available to go to new homes after April 12.
They both may be surgically castrated if desired.
Thin Mint is Cookie's daughter from 2 years ago. She is an excellent milk producer as well, and has blue eyes.
Both boys are available for $150 each, or $250 for both together.
Cora gave us a beautiful doeling Emma on February 16.
We will be retaining her for our herd.
And last but not least, and certainly most eventful,
Butterscotch gave us one LARGE buckling Butters in the wee hours of the morning on February 18. We almost had to go to a C-section but thankfully she got his big head out!
He will be ready to go to a new home after April 15.
He can also be surgically castrated. He is available for $150.

Cookie is an excellent milk producer and very sweet. These babies are handled daily. Jolly can be banded at 8 weeks or surgically castrated at a later date.
