The vast majority of our reproduction services available will be canine. We offer the following to aid in your breeding program:

• Exam at the beginning of heat cycle

  • This allows us to discuss breeding plans, make sure the bitch is suitable and healthy for breeding, and establish a relationship.

• Progesterone testing

  • In house as well as send out to TVMDL or IDEXX

• Vaginal cytology

  • Done at each progesterone test appointment

• Genetic testing and OFA radiographs, heart, thyroid & patella exams

  • Genetic testing commonly done through VetGen​

• Pregnancy ultrasounds

  • Recommended at day 25 to 28 after breeding​

• Pregnancy radiographs

  • Recommended at day 50-60 after breeding for accurate puppy counts​

• Artificial insemination

  • Vaginal insemination

  • Trans-cervical (TCI) insemination

  • Surgical insemination

• Semen evaluation

• Chilled semen shipments

  • FedEx overnight

• Brucellosis testing

  • This test is only available via send out labs at this time.​

• C-sections

  • Including feline and other species

• Litter exams

• Neonatal care

• In the future we will offer semen freezing and storage.

We are hopeful, depending on demand, to be able to offer laparoscopic artificial insemination for both goats and sheep, as well as embryo flushes/transfers in the near future. Please let us know if this is a service you are interested in using.
