Wellness Exams
Wellness exams are an important part of keeping your pets healthy and living their best life. Once to twice yearly examinations are recommended to keep your pet in tip-top shape. Call today to schedule your pets checkup!
Dental Cleanings
Dental disease (periodontal disease) is one of the most common problems our pets have. Routine dental cleaning are important to keeping your pet overall healthy and living a longer, pain free life. We can perform dental radiographs, extractions, and cleanings. Advanced endodontics can be referred to a veterinary dentist.
Vaccinations
We offer vaccinations for dogs, cats, goats, sheep, and other species upon request. We tailor each pet's vaccination schedule to fit their exposure levels. We also offer thiomersol-free rabies vaccines.
Reproduction Services
We offer canine, feline, and soon caprine and ovine reproduction assistance. Services include assisted breedings, progesterone testing, pregnancy ultrasounds, and C-sections, as well as experienced neonatal care and chilled semen shipments and evaluations. We also offer genetic testing. In the near future, we will offer semen freezing and semen storage.
Soft Tissue Surgery
We offer most soft tissue surgeries and have referral surgeons that can come to the clinic for other surgeries we cannot perform ourselves, including orthopedic surgery.
Surgical consultations are required prior to scheduling, and often pre-anesthetic bloodwork or other workup is recommended prior to surgery.
Small Livestock
We are happy to see small livestock that can fit in your car (or truck bed!) and through our door! Show animals are especially welcome. Ask about our services discount for local FFA and 4-H members. Farm calls are available on a limited basis.
Imaging
We offer ultrasonography and radiology, including dental radiographs and OFA radiographs. We will be expanding abdominal ultrasound services over the coming year, and can have referral ultrasonographers scheduled at your convenience for more advanced imaging needs.
Farm calls
Farm calls and herd exams are available on a limited basis. This includes services for both small animals and small livestock. PT (pullorum-typhoid) testing for avian flocks is available, as well as necropsies and herd diagnostic testing.
Unfortunately, we are not equipped to see horses and cattle either in clinic or on farm calls, though possible exceptions can be made depending on what service is required.
Exotics
We are happy to see exotics, including pocket pets, reptiles, chickens, other birds, as long as they can fit in your car and through our door!
End of life care
Unfortunately, our pets do not live long enough and will all eventually come to the rainbow bridge. We are here to help you in those difficult times, including offering in home euthanasia options as well as in clinic.
Urgent Care & Emergency
Same day urgent care and emergency work in appointments are available on a limited basis. We will do our very best to accomodate you in times of need, however, sometimes will still need to refer to the local emergency clinic for needs that surpass our abilities or time constraints. After hours emergencies are on a limited basis and only for existing clients.
Medical boarding
We do not offer general boarding, however we will have limited space available for medical boarding, including diabetic animals, reptiles or pocket pets with special needs, and others. Please inquire if we are able to meet your needs.
